Champaign County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Contact the agency or court that created the record directly.

Use 911 for an emergency. The Sheriff's listed non-emergency line is 217-333-8911. Do not use a records line to report an immediate threat or approach a facility because of an online entry.

  • For a current jail entry or recent booking photo, start with the county roster and booking-record page, then use the Sheriff's FOIA form for a named record.
  • For a warrant or post-release court question, use Sheriff's Most Wanted for the Records/Warrants and court-check path.
  • For a Champaign Police report, use the CPD FOIA request page. CPD is at 82 E. University Avenue, Champaign, Illinois 61820; its front desk is 217-351-4545.
  • For a Urbana Police report, use UPD Records and Requests or the city FOIA route. Urbana lists 400 S. Vine Street and 217-384-6276 for its FOIA process.
  • For a Rantoul Police report, use RPD Records and the city's FOIA form. Rantoul lists 109 E. Grove Avenue, 217-892-2103, and police@myrantoul.com.
  • For a public court case or disposition, use the Circuit Clerk public-access page. The Clerk says arrest reports come from the arresting police agency.
  • For a state-sentenced person, use the IDOC offender search and IDOC FOIA route. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator.

A booking, charge, or arrest is an accusation. Ask the official record holder for the current status and later disposition.
